Chain Slings
A chain sling can be described as the assembly of chain and its components. One end, or both ends might have components depending on the application. The most important point in production of chain slings is that chain and all components must have the exact same WLL. Under no circumstances chains and components of different sizes shall be assembled.
Chains and components have two different grades which are Grade 80 and Grade 100. Another important point in the production of chain slings is that chains and all components must be in the same grade.
In order to certify a chain sling, all of the components must comply with relevant standards and must have certificates according to EN 10204 2.1, 2.2 or 3.1.
