Especially with the widespread use in the heavy lifting industry grommet type being the first and only manufacturer in the year 2016 of the endless wire rope slings Turkey, we are proud. As Çopuroğlu, we have the capacity to manufacture grommet type slings from 24 mm to 270 mm. The slings we manufacture are generally produced according to EN 13414-3 and IMCA M179 standards.

Grommet type endless slings are knitted from a single piece of rope with 6 arms and 1 core.

In grommet slings, the joints should be marked with red paint (according to EN 13414-3 and IMCA M179 standards). These painted joints should never come into contact with the load.

Torsion is a common problem in grommet slings. However, as the slings are used, the pitch increases and thus creates torsion.

An endless slingshot can twist 1800 torsion 30 times the diameter of the finished sling. For example, it is not a problem that a sling with a grommet diameter of 90 mm will twist 1800 in the 2.7 meter section. If the grommet use length is 27 m, 9 times 1800 twists may occur along the length of the sling.
